osCommerce Templates Available at Template Monste

(May 31, 2005) Template Monster, a global provider of website templates, has released a new product line – osCommerce templates. An osCommerce template is based on the osCommerce solution - open source online shop e-commerce. The osCommerce products are not only templates directed toward online commerce, but also all the files necessary to set up an osCommerce based on-line shop.

Template Monster sees osCommerce as the most popular solution in its field, and thus decided to provide templates especially for it, while still providing regular releases of new templates and 24/7 support for them. Template Monster feels quite good about expanding to enter this market and hopes that such a contribution to the osCommerce open source project will attract lots of new customers.

“With this new product line we aim to support osCommerce as it’s of real value to the internet community” says Gary Nichols, Head of Marketing at Template Monster - “with our osCommerce templates we provide both a design which works under osCommerce and all the necessary files to set up an osCommerce based on-line shop. We think that the injection of a bit of fresh air in the form of premium design will boost the osCommerce community to the next stage of its successful evolution.”

Template Monster enters the market of osCommerce design with five templates and one free sample, planning to add one new osCommerce template each week. The osCommerce section of Template Monster can be found here.

osCommerce is an online shop e-commerce solution that offers a wide range of out-of-the-box features that allow online stores to be setup fairly quickly with ease, and is available for free as an Open Source based solution released under the GNU General Public License. More information on osCommerce can be found at www.oscommerce.com.
