First-Ever European Weekly Internet Ratings
Launched
Jupiter Media Metrix, a global leader in Internet and
new technology analysis and measurement, today announced
that its European affiliate, Jupiter MMXI, has launched the
first ever weekly Internet audience ratings data for Europe.
Number one properties among countries measured weekly by
Jupiter MMXI include T-Online sites in Germany, Wanadoo sites
in France, Infostrada sites in Italy and Microsoft sites
in the United Kingdom for the week ending June 17.
European Weekly Flash Highlights:
- Multinational properties, Microsoft and Yahoo! are among
the top five properties measured on a weekly basis within
each of the four countries.
- Among those countries, Germany has the highest number (10,057,000) of total
weekly unique visitors and 142.7 average unique pages viewed per visitor,
the highest overall.
- While the United Kingdom has the second highest number of total unique
visitors (9,934,000) for the week, it has the lowest number (94.9) of average
weekly pages viewed per person compared with the number in Germany, France
and Italy.
