Question: How many Websites realistically use Meta Tags?

Answer: Unfortunately there is no resent surveys on Meta Tag Usage. The last survey done was by Sitemetrics in mid-1998. In that survey it was determined that only 30% of Websites actually use Meta Tags. Out of the sites that used Meta Tags, 31% had too long of a description and 8% had too many keywords.
